A Yamaha PW-X3 / PW-ST / PW-TE bike is powered by a Yamaha drive, and the battery is proprietary to it. The replacement is one of the system's own packs: Yamaha Intube 500 Wh (500 Wh, 36 V in-tube); Yamaha frame battery 500 Wh (500 Wh, 36 V frame); Yamaha frame battery 400 Wh (400 Wh, 36 V frame); Yamaha rack battery 500 Wh (500 Wh, 36 V rack); Yamaha rack battery 400 Wh (400 Wh, 36 V rack).
Yamaha's 36 V PW-series battery is shared across the PW-X3, PW-ST, PW-SE and PW-TE mid drives. Because Giant SyncDrive and older Haibike systems are re-badged Yamaha, many Yamaha packs are cross-badged rather than truly separate; match the physical mount and the 36 V rating.
