Local bike and e-bike shops by area

A local bike shop is where a battery is fitted, a drive unit is serviced and a fitment question is answered in person. These area directories are compiled from OpenStreetMap.

Finding a local dealer

Some e-bike work is best done in person by a shop that knows the drive system: fitting a new battery mount, diagnosing a drive-unit fault, or updating the motor firmware. These directories list bicycle shops by area so you can find one near you.

The listings are compiled from OpenStreetMap, the open collaborative map database, and are provided for reference so you can start with a shortlist of nearby shops rather than a blank search.

What a bike shop can do for an e-bike

Beyond ordinary bike servicing, a bike shop that stocks e-bikes can usually diagnose a motor or battery fault, order a genuine replacement pack keyed to your system, fit a new battery mount or wiring harness, and carry out firmware updates on Bosch, Shimano and similar systems through a dealer tool. Not every shop services every drive system, so it is worth calling ahead.

For anything involving a high-current battery, a competent shop is safer than a DIY attempt: a pack is a load-bearing, high-energy part and a bad connection or wrong charger can be dangerous.

How the listings are compiled

Each shop shown is tagged as a bicycle shop in OpenStreetMap for that area. OpenStreetMap is community-maintained, so opening hours, phone numbers and whether a shop still trades can change; treat the listing as a starting point and confirm details with the shop before travelling.
