Brose Drive / Specialized Turbo (Full Power)Which replacement battery fits a Brose Drive / Specialized Turbo (Full Power) bike?
The replacement batteries that fit a Brose Drive / Specialized Turbo (Full Power) e-bike, and why another brand's pack will not work.
Fits with the right pack. A Brose Drive / Specialized Turbo (Full Power) bike takes a Brose battery proprietary to the system, so the replacement is one of its own packs, most often the Specialized M3-700.
| Drive system | Brose Drive / Specialized Turbo (Full Power) |
|---|---|
| Voltage | 36 V nominal |
| Replacement packs that fit | Specialized M3-700 (700 Wh, 42 V charge, Rosenberger); Specialized M2-700 (700 Wh, 42 V charge, Rosenberger) |
| Charge port | Rosenberger / Magcode magnetic charge connector |
| What will not fit | any battery from a different drive system, and packs from a different Bosch/Shimano generation |
A Brose Drive / Specialized Turbo (Full Power) bike is powered by a Brose drive, and the battery is proprietary to it. The replacement is one of the system's own packs: Specialized M3-700 (700 Wh, 42 V charge, Rosenberger); Specialized M2-700 (700 Wh, 42 V charge, Rosenberger).
Specialized full-power bikes run a Brose-based motor with a Specialized battery (M2, M3) and a Rosenberger magnetic charge port. The pack is proprietary to Specialized, so a Bosch or Shimano battery will never fit even though the frame looks similar.
