A Shimano STEPS E8000 / E7000 / E6100 bike is powered by a Shimano drive, and the battery is proprietary to it. The replacement is one of the system's own packs: Shimano STEPS BT-E8010 (504 Wh, 36 V, 14 Ah external); Shimano STEPS BT-E8014 (418 Wh, 36 V external); Shimano STEPS BT-E8020 (504 Wh, 36 V integrated); Shimano STEPS BT-E8036 (630 Wh, 36 V, 17.5 Ah in-tube); Shimano STEPS BT-E8035 (504 Wh, 36 V, 17.5 Ah in-tube).
The E8000 family is the STEPS generation before EP8. Its batteries (BT-E8010, BT-E8014, BT-E8020) also run on the EP8 drives, so packs are largely shared across E8000, E7000, E6100, EP8, EP801 and EP600, except where a battery needs a specific reinforced mount.
