Bosch eBike System 2 covers the classic round-motor Bosch bikes from about 2014 to 2021. Its PowerPack and PowerTube packs use the oval charge port and are not interchangeable with the smart system. Do not buy a smart-system battery for a BES2 bike or the reverse.
It charges through the Bosch smart-system round charge port using the Bosch Standard Charger 4A (eBike System 2).
