The Shimano STEPS BT-E8036 is proprietary to the Shimano STEPS E8000 / E7000 / E6100 drive, so it fits that system and no other. The BT-E8036 is the 630 Wh in-tube pack and is exclusively compatible with EP800, E8000, E7000, E6000 and E5000. It cannot be used with the EP801 or EP600 drive units, which take the look-alike BT-EN806 instead.
