Brose Fahrzeugteile, a German automotive supplier, makes belt-driven mid-drive e-bike motors known for quiet, smooth power delivery. Specialized rebadges Brose units as its own 2.1 and 2.2 motors.

Brose-powered bikes, including Specialized Turbo models, use packs matched to the Brose or Specialized system. Specialized batteries (for example the SL1-320 and M2 packs) are proprietary to that drive and are not interchangeable with Bosch, Shimano or Yamaha batteries.
Published drive units include Drive S Mag (Mid-drive rated 90 Nm); Drive S (Mid-drive rated 90 Nm); Drive T (Mid-drive rated 70 Nm); Drive C (Mid-drive rated 50 Nm).
