MAHLE GmbH is a German automotive parts manufacturer based in Stuttgart, Germany.
Mahle systems use a slim in-tube battery (about 236 Wh on the X35, larger on the X20) with an optional range-extender bottle. The battery is matched to the Mahle system and is not interchangeable with mid-drive packs.
Published drive units include X35+ (Rear-hub rated 40 Nm); X20 (Rear-hub rated 55 Nm).
